Fabian Edges Closer

Seems like we could be in for an even closer call with Hurricane Fabian than we originally expected. The path of the storm has shifted towards Bermuda and is now expected to pass within 60 miles of the Island at its closest approach on Friday afternoon, with winds of up to 70 knots and gusts to 100. However, the margin of error in the forecast is plus or minus 100 miles, so there's still the possibility of a direct hit. The map produced by the weather service certainly isn't very reassuring.

As hurricane-force winds extend up to 70 miles from the eye, and tropical storm force winds up to 160 miles, it looks like we could be in for a bumpy ride. Orbis is making plans for some of its operations to be run out of London in the event of major destruction and the radio and newspapers are advising everyone to stock up on water, batteries and food.

Stop being an enormous gay boy shite. This sounds like fun.

So the Bermudan lawyer I talked to the other day wasn't lying about the hurricaine? Sounds fun ...

PS - I mentioned the fact that I was coming to Bermuda to the lawyer in question, and they told me they know Mandy. Does this mean Bermuda really is a small, small place? Or is Mandy simply infamous?

This lawyer didn't used to be a professor of anything, by any chance?

That's enough from you Sunil, thank you.

Who was it Nick???

A hurricane - just two weeks too early... can't you make it hang on until I get there? Oh well, enjoy...

Bermuda is indeed a small place - my sister works in a law firm there, she may know this lawyer too - who is it?!?

We thought we'd hang on tight to a loquat tree and enjoy the ride!

Of course I know Megan! She's great! I dated her brother, Andreas. And no, he wasn't a professor.

The Bermudan lawyer's called Megan Lewin ... as Mandy says she used to go out with her brother .. well it's a small island ! Faced with the competition of Phil I suspect he's abandonned any hopes of ever turning Mandy's head again.

Michael Fish said that Fabian won't hit, by the way, apparently it's going the other way ...

Hey Mandy,

Congrats...caught up with you from Stephen a while ago....hope all is well..I now work with Leatrice (how I found this site..always interesing to know) drop me a note and catch me up.
