Common Denominator

The Bermuda Sun is clearly trying to emulate its British namesake.

On the front page of last Friday's edition we were greeted by a huge picture of local model Alexis Wolffe as a lead-in to a story about a new website featuring risque photographs of Bermudian women. This week the Sun’s cover was sporting another sultry-looking siren - this time highlighting a story on a ‘Girls of the Bermuda Triangle’ calendar - next to a picture of the not-unattractive tennis star Maria Sharapova and the headline ‘Serving Up Sex’.

Stop being so coy, chaps. Just stick a bare-breasted beauty on page 3 and be done with it.

Why stop at page 3? After seeing the local "dodgy" website and the fact nothing ever happens in bermuda thats interesting, make every page bare breasted!!

If you think that's bad, this morning's headline for the British Sun - and I kid you not - "Elton Takes David Up The Aisle". I certainly had a chuckle but, God, you have to wonder how they get away with it, don't you?
