Caption competition #22 winners

This week's caption competition attracted a record 72 entries, making picking the winners even harder than usual. But then I figured, hey, you'll still disagree with me anyway, so why worry?

Dog

The winners were:

First: Yet Another Limey - As the speedo hit 60, it suddenly occurred to Fido, he was on old dog and this was a new trick.

Second: Lisa - Blind man arrested for inappropriate use of guide dog.

Third: SmokingGun - No one had the heart to break it to Little Stevie that his girlfriend really was a dog.

Honourable mentions:

Adjustah - The new 2006 Honda Snoopy.

Combat Banker - Local Philanthropist announces door-to-door delivery service for politicians who don't have a Scooby.

nick - Now this is what I call doggy style.

There'll be another picture to caption next Friday.

Unfortunately I have to hand back my prize for blatant plagiarism from Gary Larson

No wonder it seemed vaguely familiar. Still made me giggle, though.

Here's the original

I noticed the Gary Larsen reference, but chose not to say anything as I've bent a Farside caption or two to a new purpose on occassion

I have his "Boneless Chicken Farm" cartoon on my fridge.

YAL you little cheater. Gimme that prize!
