Under-age designing

I've been using Evite to put together an invite for a party I'm throwing. It's the first time I've tried it, but it seems to work pretty well and there are a nice variety of designs to choose from.

Some of these designs, such as this one, are sponsored by liquor companies. That's fine. What's odd is the following disclaimer, plastered across the bottom of every page on Evite's site:

Users of alcohol-endorsed Evite designs must be of legal drinking age.

Note that it's talking about users of the designs, not the products featured in them.

Madness.

I cannot believe that a techie-idiot like me has been using evite for at least three years and you are just getting it?

You're slowing down. Next on the agenda will be kids...

I just don't have parties that often. Don't have enough friends. :-/

That's typical America - our backward neighbour who forgets its u's. And its allegiance to the Queen...
I'm half-ashamed.
Now I'm going to go and half-eat some Freedom Fries while I half-read my science homework on the Creationism and Intelligent Design.

Jake no wonder I could'nt get you in the Dojo. Heah electronic cards cute! Phil how are the Gombies comming for your set in St.G? Or should I just bring a boom box to carry around!

"I just don't have parties that often. Don't have enough friends. :-/"

Phil - with all due respect, isn't that a little oxymoronic?

I trust you will be posting the invitation on the site and inviting us all.

I am coming to the realisation that the lack of Evites in my email mean I'm NFI....boohoo :)

Good, sensible law-making.

Keep 'em off the soft stuff, otherwise they'd only graduate to QuarkXPress, or God help them, even PhotoShop...

Yours, smug Designer type...

You think I'd invite you lot to my home? You're all insane. :-)

How about a Christmas drink at a watering hole in town instead? How does Tuesday 20th December suit everyone?
