I had a dangling modifier once.

The doctor gave me a cream and some pills and it cleared right up.

The story has also hit the Drudge Report...

Ha Ha. Funny. When I was at Berkeley, one of our english lessons (at the end of year - after finals)was spent in competition... find the most grammatical and spelling errors in the Royal Gazette. Ahh.. the good old days!

Royal Gazette errors are always a laugh, but at least they try. My recent favourite is their attempt to censor a rude word but *** the wrong bit.
