Caption competition #35 winners

The Wayne Furbert Edition of the LiB caption competition is now over.

The winners were:

First: hotspur - Put her round the back, Gibbo. And when you've done that give her a wipe over will ya?

Second: SmokingGun - "Now point at his car and say how wonderful it is, yes that's right, now give him a big smile and tell him you are in charge now and you want his vote. Well done Wayne, you are doing great".

Third: Two Cents - The PLP's third attempt at a drive by shooting fails when it's revealed that yet another would-be assassin is actually Wayne Furbert's cousin.

Honourable mentions:

Yet Another Limey - Using the ringtones from his new Nokia, Wayne serenades passing voters: "Young man, there’s no need to feel down, I said young man, pick yourself off the ground... It’s fun to vote for the New U B P..."

Tiger Bay - The Johnny Barnes apprenticeship programme finally shows results: "I love ya"!

Full Fullish - Furbert into the phone: "Ha watch what I'm gonna do to the next car that stops!". Furbert to driver: "Hey pull my finger!"

I agree with Yet Another Limey...Uncle Elvis' "keys locked in car" was funny as hell.

I liked all the choices except 3#--because I don't like assassin jokes at all. I'd put Yet Another Limey's other one in there:

"Now go straight down to Masters and get the super glue solvent, and if you see Grant tell him to stop it with the practical jokes. Now hurry, there’s only so much time I can spend pretending someone’s on this phone."
