Illegal to annoy

The US has just passed a great new law that would have come in mighty handy here on LiB a couple of months ago:

"Whoever...utilizes any device or software that can be used to originate telecommunications or other types of communications that are transmitted, in whole or in part, by the Internet... without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person...who receives the communications...shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both."

Perhaps there's a PLP Senator I could lobby to introduce a similar measure in Bermuda?

[Thanks to Steve for the tip.]

When, oh WHEN are they going to implement this here?

Then, maybe, I'll stop getting unwanted emails from a certain ex-member of our little family, or at least have some legal resource to stop them.

Man that's a really Bud law....I mean to have a law like that bud up from no where is just great.

I truely hope that you get heard from a really Bud politician from the PLP. That would just be Bud!

Is anyone BUDies with someone who SPEAKS on behave of the PLP? They would probably be a good one to lead the charge on this Bud law. :)

Actually, it was someone new, girl. Someone with terryble spelling.

"without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person..."
