X marks the spot

Bertrand Sciboz, of the European Centre for Underwater Research and Studies, has created a collection of placemarks for Google Earth showing the location of Bermuda's shipwrecks. Each placemark includes a sometimes lengthy description of the wreck at that site.

Apparently Mr. Sciboz got his map from local treasure hunter Teddy Tucker, while diving in Bermuda a couple of years ago.

Interesting stuff.

Did Teddy also happen to mention where he hid the Tucker Cross?

JOKE TEDDY!! PLEASE DON'T BUY ME!!!!

Combat Banker! Oooooooohhhhh, you know he's gonna stuff you in a whale's stomach for that one!

I hope the website doesn't say there's treasure at any of these sites. If it did the PLP would declare them off limits and contract some of Bermuda's best divers from Court Street to go get it for them.

Gee, well that didn't take long to become another LiB/UBP/PLP polictical post...

It would be dope if the PLP got knowledge of a few untouched boats and declared them off limits to contract some of Bermuda's best divers from Court Street to go get it for them. I think the reaction from (can’t think of a street name with whitish overtones) would be priceless.

ice_cube

Sounds like a great idea...maybe we could get Jessica Alba to be in it too...

Cube, really don't want this to be another black/white thread, but is that really how you percieve white people? If so, man do we all have a long way to go.

Combat Banker - I think the cube was just icing digital's comments.

I guess I should stop doing the placemarks I was doing!!

Although I still like my "Ultimate Bermuda Shipwreck Guide"

SmokingGun is right Combat Banker, I was just having a go at digitals "court street" thingy. It gave me that old vibe we all know so well. Maybe I’m reading it wrong but, to me it sounds suspect.

Phew... For a second there I thought Bermuda was turning into a bad 80's movie or something.

Which would be OK, as long as I get to be played by Gene Wilder.

Gene Wilder lmao
