Public meetings calendar

Last Wednesday, there was a town hall meeting about Bermuda’s housing problem. Apparently few people turned up. Had I known about it, I would probably have gone.

The day before, the UBP held a “consultative forum”. That was well-attended, however not everyone who wanted to go could remember when and where it was being held. One would-be attendee complained that “having seen the meeting advertised 'somewhere' [I] was unable to relocate the information”.

As a result, I’ve started my own calendar of public meetings likely to be of interest to readers of this site (i.e. political meetings). You can find it in the sidebar. I’ll update the calendar with meetings that I’m aware of. If you know of any more, drop me an email and I’ll add them.

If you use Google calendar, you can add this calendar to your own (its name is ‘Limey in Bermuda’). If you use Microsoft Outlook, and have a little technical savvy, you can use RemoteCalendars to keep your Outlook calendar in sync with it. An RSS feed and iCal file are also available.

Hope you find it useful.

Phil, Excellent idea! Now maybe those "public" independence meetings won't "sneak by" anymore.
